We launched Tumblr with a boilerplate Terms of Service that we never felt truly captured our company’s philosophy. We’re determined to be the best place for everyone in the world to share the things they love and create. In keeping up with that motto, we felt like it was time for a little update and clarification in our Terms of Service. Two key points:
- You own and control what you share on Tumblr - and we want your experience here to be perfect.
- You’re free to remove any of your content or delete your account at any time. If you do, your content remains your own and we’ll do our best to promptly remove it from Tumblr.
We want Tumblr to be a place where creativity, originality, and sharing are embraced and we hope we’ve crafted a Terms of Service that makes everyone comfortable and happy.
